I started this blog because, well, I think I have pretty good taste, some decent ideas and a pretty eclectic approach to the world. I believe that you shouldn't stop reviewing books just because they aren't new releases (who can really keep on top of the best seller list?), that there is plenty of great fashion that never makes it to the pages of Vogue and that a lot of really wonderful things in design and art and literature get overlooked every day by the biggest hits. Which, by the way, I have nothing again. The famous and the obscure are both welcome on this site.
Books - best selling and out of print. Movies -- blockbusters and sleepers. Tiny little gems of stores. Profound thoughts. Not so profound thoughts. Thoughts that may only seem profound to me and one other person. All kinds of music. All kinds of art. Living life. Discovering new things. Stretching boundaries.
